“GEN ART x ETHOS: UNBREAKABLE,” TAKING PLACE DURING ART BASEL
AT MONDRIAN SOUTH BEACH, DECEMBER 2ND – 4TH
MIAMI BEACH – GEN ART, the 25-year emerging art, film, and fashion talent incubator, with a wide industry and consumer following, is set to open an immersive three (3) day Art and Fashion Experience entitled “GEN ART X ETHOS: UNBREAKABLE” from December 2nd through December 4th, at MONDRIAN SOUTH BEACH. The live program will include a pop-up art gallery in the BAIA BEACH CLUB and Mondrian Hotel public spaces, curated by GEORGEANA IRELAND, Gen Art’s resident Artistic Director and owner of ETHOS CONTEMPORARY ART. The artists featured will include LUCIANA, AMBER GOLDHAMMER, DAVID KROVBLIT, MRSN, ARTLORD, VICTOR SAN ANDRÉS, GREGORY SIFF, and LICATA. Know in the fashion world as JESSICA LICATA, she is also one part of the design duo EQUALSHUMAN, alongside co-designer ALISON VITOLO, and the brand comes to Miami fresh off the heels of their recent debut at NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, to unveil their expanded fashion collection. The entire program is supported by Mondrian South Beach, WEDGE HR, and DCI PROJECTS, Gen Art’s new digital partner agency, owned and operated by NICK DESROSIERS
Known for innovative multi-media, fashion, and art parties, Gen Art will highlight the three (3)-day experience with three (3) premiere events. Gen Art’s bash for 500 special guests will take place on Thursday night, December 2nd, from 7-10 pm at the Mondrian’s outdoor Baia Beach Club. The evening will feature a live performance by Florida-based electronic pop group, WE WANT MORE, a fashion presentation featuring equalshuman, the unveiling of the Ethos Contemporary Art pop-up gallery, live graffiti art by Licata, and the launch of the first Gen Art NFT project by Victor San Andres, as well as a limited preview of the upcoming collaboration between Gregory Siff and DEADMAU5.
The following day, Gen Art will unveil their daytime cabanas adjacent to the Mondrian pool at Baia Beach Club, which will be open to the public on Friday, December 3rd, and Saturday, December 4th from 1-5 pm daily. The cabanas will give guests a chance to purchase or commission visual art from Ethos Contemporary and to shop the equalshuman fashion collection via live personal styling experiences with the design team. MATT BAXTER, CEO of WEDGE HR, will also produce his live podcast “THE MATT BAXTER SHOW” directly from the cabanas, where he will get up close and personal with leading executives in the art, music, film, fashion, tech, lifestyle, and hospitality companies involved in ART BASEL and MIAMI ART WEEK.
On our program’s final day at the Mondrian South Beach, Gen Art and BingeBuilder, Inc., (a talent incubator and digital content investment marketplace powered by web3 communities), will co host a media brunch while Matt Baxter continues his live interviews of artists and fashion designers as part of The Matt Baxter Show.
